The Sharon Bible School is an international ministry to indigenous pastors of 'third world' countries that uses the lessons developed for the SHARON Ladies' Bible Study of Chapel On the Hill. Sharon Bible Schools have been founded in El Salvadore, Philippines and in Bungoma, Kenya; and teaching materials are used by pastors and evangelists in other areas of the Philippines and in Pakistan and Nepal.
The original lessons are being adapted for different methods of teaching and dissemination, and are being translated into Cebuano (Visaya) and into Swahili (Kiswahili). Answers and notes are available to help the teachers. Some additonal lessons have been written (one translated also into Urdu).
A gospel tract written in Cebuano by one of the Sharon Bible School students has been translated into English, Swahili, and Urdu. By September of 2019, 1.7 million tracts have been printed and used in door-to-door evangelism, bringing thousands of souls to salvation, and a few new churches have been planted.
In April of 2016, the Sharon Bible School and SBS Gospel Tract ministries joined with About-Face Missions (a tax-exempt charity). In 2019, these two ministries have been re-named TaBL (Tracts and Bible Lessons) as a part of AFM Ministries. See AboutFaceMissions.com .
