More Than Forgiven!
A Study of The Eight Major Doctrines Which Define New Testament Salvation
by Timothy S. Morton
reformatted as a lesson series (PDF files)
Here are 'outlines' that introduce eight doctrines about salvation based on eight words that the Bible uses to describe salvation:
These eight lessons are preceded by an introduction and followed by a summary, so there are ten lessons, including also:
As explained in the introduction, the real lessons are in the over-350 Bible references, not in the outlines by themselves. Each 'lesson' just defines the word and gives verses in the Bible that uses the word. Students need to study the verses and allow the Bible to teach them.
These are good to study after studying the "Understanding the Bible" lesson, because here is an opportunity for students to use what they have learned from the "Understanding the Bible" lesson. As students share their observations, they can learn from one another. It will be a great joy to learn more completely what God has provided us when He saved us.
The file names that include "_A4" are formatted for A4 paper. The others are formatted for letter (8.5 by 11 inch) paper.
The Salvation_Doctrine files combine all lessons into one file for easier printing.
The Salvation_Doctrine_Review files are for printing cards for reviewing the names of the eight salvation doctrines. Instructions are included for playing a group game with these cards.
